Hello Lovely and welcome, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Michelle and I'm the founder and creator of Beyond Your Mirror which came about by my own health journey would leading me to the wonderful world of green beauty and organic skin care and makeup. As a Hashimotos sufferer for years I was inspired to change my lifestyle after learning mainstream cosmetics contained chemicals that could trigger flare ups. I immediately set about going through all my beauty products and threw out any and all that contained any type of chemical that could be detrimental to my health. I had already made the switch with household products years earlier but it never occurred to me that my makeup could be making my condition worse. Upon throwing out every beauty product I owned except for a handful of Nude by Nature products I turned my attention to finding organic and natural green beauty alternatives. This was especially important not only for my own health but also as a qualified makeup artist as I didn't want to be using chemicals on my clients any longer.

I found wonderful brands such as Inika, La Mav, Ere Perez, Clove and Hallow, Weleda, Hurraw and many more, in fact there are new brands emerging all the time. One thing I continue to look for next to being chemical free is that the company must not test on animals! I personally believe testing on animals is a complete and unnecessary way to test whether or not a product is safe to use as well as being inhumane and cruel. We here at Beyond Your Mirror will never test or support brands that test on our furry friends.

Over the last year I have also developed a passion for essential oils and the amazing benefits they can bring to your life. Frankie's Blendz was inspired by my sons who have Autism and while the older son copes quite well the younger needs more assistance with emotional overwhelm and I just knew essential oils had to help in some way and so Frankie's Blendz was born. We are connected to the earth in a very powerful way and I truly believe there are numerous ways we can use natures gifts to help our emotional, physical and spiritual being. We are developing more blends to add to the store and will help you with one on one consultations and custom blends should you need something specific for your life. Our aim is to provide the best possible service for you and your family and we will be introducing new products as we go along and expand covering all areas of life. We also will be publishing a new blog post each week covering a different topic and introducing brands as we add them to the store. We will also be sharing some educational posts on how to switch to organic products and how chemicals impact our lives as well as posts highlighting different essential oils.
